Ruth C. Osborne

Ms. Osborne has 22 years of experience as a civil trial lawyer defending physicians and hospitals in medical negligence claims and governmental agencies in premises liability, automotive liability, and general liability claims. She primarily practices in the areas of medical malpractice and general liability defense. She handles cases in state and federal courts from inception through trial.  

Ms. Osborne received her Juris Doctor, with honors, from the University of Florida College of Law in May 1998 and her Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude from the University of Central Florida, graduating in 1994 with a major in legal studies and a minor in English.

Ms. Osborne is licensed to practice law in Florida and is admitted in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. She is a member of the Florida Bar, Florida Defense Lawyers Association and Defense Research Institute. She has attained an AV-Preeminent rating from Martindale Hubbell Law Directory reflecting the highest level of ethics, professionalism and legal ability as judged by her peers in the legal community and has achieved the highest level of Peer Review in the areas of general practice and medical malpractice defense. In 2012, Ms. Osborne was named amongst Top Women Lawyers by a national publication.
